Munkh-Erdene is an Australian-qualified lawyer and the founder of Ochir Law. Born in Mongolia and now practising in Queensland, Munkh brings a unique cross-border perspective to corporate, commercial, construction, and advisory matters.

He advises businesses, investors, developers, and professionals on commercial structuring, construction and infrastructure projects, contractual risk management, regulatory compliance, and dispute strategy. With experience across complex contractual negotiations, governance matters, and project risk allocation, Munkh combines technical precision with commercial pragmatism.

Munkh’s background includes multiple years working in private equity across the Asia-Pacific region, where he worked closely with businesses in raising capital, acquiring private companies, and executing strategic divestments. He has practised as a lawyer in both Australia and Singapore, and previously worked within one of Australia’s largest legal partnerships as well as an international law firm, advising on sophisticated corporate, commercial, and construction matters across jurisdictions.

As one of the few Mongolian-born lawyers practising in Australia, he is uniquely positioned to assist Mongolian and international clients navigating Australian legal, business, and project environments.
